Youth Ministries

We play games, study Scripture, hang out, go on retreats and mission trips, serve, worship through song, and so much more-all to see students come to know Christ and reach their peers for Christ.


Hanging basket fundraiser | April 1 - 21

Hanging baskets will be delivered to your home on the morning of Saturday, May 4. Every basket students sell will earn them $10 to be used for Youth Ministry events and trips.


New Life

6th - 8th Grade | Sunday | 5:00p - 6:30p |Sept-May

New Life Youth Ministries is open for all 6th - 8th grade students. New Life Youth Ministry exists to reach students for Christ who reach their peers for Christ. During 2023-2024, our programming includes Live Gathering, Home Groups, Sunday School, and Events. All of which help students experience Jesus in powerful ways, equipping them to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.


Turning Point

High School | Sunday | 7:00P - 8:30p|Sept-May

Turning Point Youth Ministries is open for all 9th-12th grade students. Turning Point Youth Ministry exists to reach students for Christ who reach their peers for Christ. During 2023-2024, our programming includes Live Gathering, Home Groups, Events, and Sunday School. All of which help students experience Jesus in powerful ways, equipping them to reach others with the good news of the Gospel.


Youth Sunday School

6th - 12th Grade | Sunday | 9:50a - 10:40a |Sept-May  

6th & 7th Grade Students - Room 027 - Teacher: Megan Rocha-Adams
We cover what our core beliefs are and how they impact our lives.

8th & 9th Grade Students - Room 034 - Teacher: Eric Bruins
Students examine the book of John, helping them understand who Jesus is and how they are to live with Him today. 

10th - 12th Grade Students - Youth Room - Teacher: Brian Boom and Kaeden Costen
Students will walk through the history of Christianity for eight weeks, then learn how to look at current events through a Biblical worldview, and wrap up the year with a study of the parable of the prodigal son.


Underground

6th-12th Grade | Thursday | 2:45-5:00P | Sept-May

Students will enjoy a snack, play games, get help with homework, get to know other students, and hang out in the Youth Room and Gym. Students may be dropped-off and picked-up at Door F.

If students need a ride to Underground from school, that can be arranged by contacting Ally VanDerLaan at avanderlaan@frchudsonville.org. All students using our transportation will be required to have a completed Parental Consent Form on file prior to boarding the bus or van.
