Young Adults

The Young Adults Ministry at FRC is designed with those between the ages of 18-25 in mind. The ministry exists as a conduit for involvement in the church. The goal is to get every young adult participating in three key components of the discipleship process within the life of the church: worship, grow and serve. 

As young adults seek to find their role in life and in the church, the Young Adults Ministry provides opportunities to aid in that process.

Secret church 2025 | free | April 25 | 6:00P to Midnight

Young Adults from the area are invited to attend a night of in-depth study of the Gospel of Matthew with teacher David Platt. We will gather in the Youth Room for video teaching, small group discussion and prayer, and food. Secret Church is patterned after the house churches in Asia that gather in secret for many hours during the night to study Scripture and pray. Each person who registers will receive a Guided Scripture Journal at the event.

Cross con 2026 | Dec 31, 2025 - Jan 3, 2026 | $150

Pastor Cory Nederveld (Rooted Ministries/Hillcrest CRC),  Brian Boom (Fellowship Reformed-ARC), & Austin Sall (Vriesland Reformed-ARC) are teaming up once again for a young adult conference (approximately 18-25 year olds..or through late 20s). We will be taking our young adults to the CROSS conference Jan 1-3, 2026 in Louisville over Christmas break! However, we are going to leave a little earlier this year and ring in the new year together. Departure will be Dec 31 (time:TBD). CrossCon are considering a NYE worship time on the evening of Dec 31 for early arrivers. There is a possiblity that a second van can leave early on Jan 1 for those who prefer to leave then.  

Cost: $150 (covers transportation, hotel, some meals during conference, & your ticket).  You will cover travel meals, a couple meals during the conference, and any additional snacks/food you want to buy during the conference.  If the $150 is not possible please check the appropriate box during registration. There are folks that would love to help you out. Finances will be handled through Rooted/Hillcrest.

Deadline: Hard deadline is by Sept 1 (but we are hoping to have all tickets accounted for as soon as possible)
