Pastor Tim is the Pastor of Discipleship at FRC since 2023. He and the Discipleship Team seek to have Jesus conversations which lead to someone starting to follow Jesus or to help them connect the issues of life to their walk with Jesus. Pastor Tim has his Bachelors in Bible and his Masters in Biblical Counseling. He has served as an Interim Pastor, Youth Pastor, Counselor, and Lead Pastor over his 15 years in vocational ministry. His ministry passion is helping believers know the Gospel and helping anyone through hard things. Pastor Tim and his family are excited to return to West Michigan where he grew up. He is married to his best friend Carol Lyzenga. Together they enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, sports, traveling, movies, board games, meeting new people, and more. They have four children at home.
