Pastor Earl is the Pastor of Visitation. His ministry includes regular calls to our Friends at Home, those with ongoing concerns, and those who have lost loved ones. Earl grew up in the Overisel area and attending Hamilton Public School and Hope College. After graduating from Western Theological Seminary in 1986, Earl has served churches in Florida, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He and his wife, Barb, have four children and three grandchildren. He loves a good book (theology, murder mystery, etc.), fifth-wheel camping, exploring lighthouses, gardening, doing jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, and spending time with family. 1964 Mustangs still catch his eye and tug at his heart.

I am continually challenged by Romans 12:1-2, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
